What's Happening!

Welcome to Create. Create is a program/department of Mannahouse Youth specified to seeing Musicians, Singers, Dancers, Photographers, Videographers, Graphic Designers etc trained in the House of God to walk with God and use their gifts as Worship to God. This year is going to be an amazing year in Mannahouse Youth and we are very much looking forward to working with you and seeing you grow as a man/woman of God and as a Worshipper. We really want to see this team become a close knit team as a family so it may be a joy for all who attend including your Leaders, the Word says “the Joy of the Lord is our strength”, so let’s be a team of Worshippers who can say when people ask us “why are you so strong” and we can reply it’s because the joy of the Lord is our strength.

John 4:23-24 “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”

Working in a team such as Create it is vital that we have guidelines so every one of you know what is expected of you when you attend Create:

Our Attitude:

When we turn up every week, we need to come with a good attitude, attitude is contagious, your attitude affects the team, if you come with a bad attitude then our Team will have a nastiness about it, but if we come with a good attitude then we can do our job effectively, remember we come to serve not to be served, so you come here to give, but at the same time your Leaders come to give as well, so there is a transaction between all of us, so let us make sure we all come with a good attitude each week. After all we are worshipping Jesus and presenting His Gospel and this Gospel is good news and we need to believe that it is, if we are on stage looking sad or looking uninterested why would we expect our peers to join in, we set the standard.

Scripture: Psalm 100:2 “Serve (or Worship) the Lord with gladness”, not sadness.

WE’RE SERVANTS:

Philippians 2:5-7, Matthew 23:11-12

Our attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus, a Servant of all. Being involved in the youth band, dance or media means that we will be either in front of people or our products will be seen by everyone which means we are to remain humble and continue to serve, we don’t become better then the person next to us because we wrote a song, we push even harder to continue to serve so we don’t become proud. We all need to helping each other out here at Create, friends at school and those we don’t want to help, this is reflecting Jesus life.

WE’RE UNITED:

We need to work continually to build this and keep this in our team as we will always have new people joining our team, we need to lay down our pride and allow others to be a part of our friendship circle as we were talking before about the family we want to build, this is something we need to work on. Where there is UNITY God commands a blessing, Psalm 133.

We need to fight to keep our unity, the devil will want to tear us apart because of the work we do leading Gods people in worship and the devil hates people drawing closer to God. Lets encourage one another continually, build one another up not tear each other down.

Ephesians 4:3

We also:

1. Listen to your Leaders – Hebrews 13:17 “Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.”
2. Honour each other – Proverbs 3:35 “The wise inherit honor, but fools he holds up to shame.”

1 Timothy 4:15 “Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.”

1. Listen when the Leader or person up front is speaking
2. Get to Create on time
3. Bring own equipment
4. HAVE FUN

OUR DRESS CODE:

What to wear: Jeans, Dress Shorts, Pants, skirts, dresses, T Shirt, collared shirt, Shoes.

What not to wear: Low cut or short tops or (under shirt needs to be worn underneath), Miniskirts (need to be just above the knee),Singlets, joggers, thongs, caps.

*rule with tops if you raise your hand and you can see skin around your stomach then you need a longer under shirt, we are here to lead Gods people not distract them.

Time: 4:30pm – 6pm (5pm – 6:30om United Night @ program location)

(Setting up, Prayer, Worship Time, Rehearsal Time etc.)
